Feeling scared...
... and vulnerable...My bank details have been stolen and someone on the other side of the world has been spending my money...
Thankfully my bank is on to it, and the money will be reimbursed - eventually - but I feel so shaken. How they got the details - who knows!!!
Suddenly the worldwide web - which I usually see as something glittering and glorious binding unseen friends together - is scary and alarming...

Yikes! I worry about that happening, and everytime they do some extra checking at a store, I figure it could be happening and carefully go over it all. I also pray for protection because getting your identity stolen is just too easy to have happen to any of us. I'm so sorry Anna! This is going to be a lot of work on your part to get back to more normality.
I am as sorry as I can be this has happened to you - it is such a violation. I am so glad the bank is on top of this and hope they can somehow trace to the person and see them prosecuted. I worry about this very thing every because you just never know!

So sorry to here thishas happened to you.
GULP. I hope it is fixed soon. I had my credit cards stolen from me once and when they used them to buy thousands of dollars worth of beer and perfume, I felt extremely violated -- even though I ended up only having to pay $50 of that. Just the thought that someone could so cavalierly TAKE was heart-wrenching.
I hope the Internet soon becomes glorious and glittering for you again.
