Can it be....

... that my beloved daddy is 65 on Friday????
This is him at 19, when he got engaged to my mum - and OK the hair's thinned a bit, but he pretty much looks the same :o) Hard to imagine he was a father at the tender age of 22...
The card is one thing I made over the weekend. Most of the time was devoted to my crow page for a chunky book swap, but I can't show that yet... boy, reproducing 22 of the same page - front and back - is exhausting!!!
Mind you, I guess being my dad is pretty tiring too :o)
Thank you, Universe, for giving me this wonderful man for a father!!! Love you, Pops!!!

What a great photo and card...he's quite good looking. It seems so odd that someones dad is that young...goes to show I'm getting older. heehee I'm sure he'd love to know about this lovely post(if he hasn't seen it).

Crow pages! acck! I finally have the design on all 22, now it still needs to be embellished AND you just reminded me I need to do something on the back too!! It will be a great book but I'll be glad when I get these sent off!

OH and your hippie items haven't been sent either - I'm WAY behind on things but you'll receive it, I promise!!

There, I think I covered everything!!
XOXO

Oh, Anna, 65 isn't really old! I'm going to be 66 in May of this year. Your dad looks like he could handle anything. Manly man and happy to boot. Thanks for sharing him and the mile stone with us!

I'm sure that your dad has the same warm, wonderful smile as when he was 19. I loved seeing that photo. Happy birthday!

What a handsome fellow!

I have trouble believing that my parents were parents so young, too. In fact, my mom was younger than I am now when my brother was born... and my brother was born when I was 13! And here my husband and I are just getting to the point where we're not quite but almost ready (or so we think!).
